We’ve been talking about time compression for decades now.

Does it drive today’s economy? Does a mongoose suck eggs?

Progress in time compression has been great in many arenas of product launch: design, prototyping, purchasing, manufacturing, distribution, you name it.

But at what  expense? Limited planning. Even more-limited research. Poor  management. Poor execution. Rushed decisions. Based on  limited understanding.

Yes, the need to develop a new product  in 3-6 months instead of 2-3 years is real. But so is the need to  do so intelligently, strategically, successfully.
