Product Development: Pt. 3 – The Right Market

Customer are the key to any business success. But, all right, markets are important, too. It’s just that they don’t make  buying decisions.

Markets do provide the economic engine to power your products to success, if you have chosen wisely.

Size, growth, potential, attractiveness…those attributes help any good business person choose markets.

Segments, niches, unprotected competitive islands are more  difficult to deal with, but if you take the time to understand and respond with a strongly focused effort, the results can be  superb!

Choose a market, narrow it down to something you can address but which will still support the business plan, and  now really get inside the skin of the customers in that market.
